SUMMARY:Exclusively for neurodivergent children or those with sensory needs - Experience the Magic of Santa's Grotto at Ruthin Christmas Extravaganza!
DESCRIPTION:Experience the Magic of Christmas at The Old Courthouse Ruthin \nSpecial Quiet Santa Session: 21st December 11am-1pm \nWe are delighted to announce a special Quiet Santa Session\, exclusively for neurodivergent children or those with sensory needs. This session will provide a calm and comfortable environment for a truly magical experience. \nWhat to Expect: Step into a beautifully decorated Courthouse\, courtesy of Ruthin Town Council and the Courthouse manager\, and immerse yourself in the festive spirit. \nEach child/family will have a magical 5-minute encounter with Santa\, ensuring everyone gets a chance to meet him and create lasting memories. To ensure a smooth experience for all\, booking in advance is required. Reserve your spot now to secure your time slot. There will be a gift which may be a selection box/advent calendar provided or a surprise gift\, if your child is lactose intolerant please contact us in advance so we can ensure they get a gift instead of chocolate. \nPlease bear that this is a free to attend event with Santa and that your time slot may be delayed for any number of reasons\, please bear in mind that everyone is doing their best to ensure this won't happen but when dealing with lots of young people things can go wrong and delays can happen. \nSanta and the event are proudly funded by Ruthin Artisan Markets CIC\, a local community initiative dedicated to promoting local artisans and creating memorable experiences for all. \nA special thanks to Tesco for donating selection boxes. \nDon't miss out on this incredible opportunity to meet Santa and create cherished memories with your loved ones. Book your spot now and make this Christmas truly magical.

SUMMARY:Ruthin Food Festival Sunday April 30th
DESCRIPTION:The Award Winning Ruthin Artisan Markets is back for 2023\, kicking off in style on April 30th at Ruthin Gaol with the first of their bi-annual Food & Drink Festivals. Showcasing the very best in local food and drink produce\, as well as arts and crafts\, Ruthin Artisan Markets is proud of the community of traders it's built up over the past 3 years and our wonderful customers who come and visit to see those amazing people and their products and for the first time since we started way back in 2020\, Ruthin Gaol will finally be open to the public\, a very exciting time indeed! \n  \nEntry to the market is free though we do collect donations\, these are not compulsory and we understand that there is a cost of living crisis so we will never pressure anyone into donating. Donations go towards a renovation project at Ruthin Gaol of the Munitions Shed. \nDogs are very welcome. \nThere is 1-2 Disabled badge parking spaces just ask at the gate and we will direct you. The grounds of the gaol\, if following the one way system\, are step free and flat\, though there are some cobbles and after bad weather there can be patches of mud so we recommend you wear well gripped shoes if you have mobility issues. \n  \n
